You may encounter the 'Mystery Item' chain during gameplay.

This is a graphical glitch, typically experienced by long-time players of Longleaf Valley.

The Mystery Item works just like a Useful Chest, and will generate useful items to complete your merge objectives. Use them to complete your most difficult tasks!

The item will disappear when it runs out of charges.
